I can't play 3D because my keyboard doesn't let me. I can't press 4 things at once like other people so it feels quite limited in terms of movement. However, if I had a different set of controls (some keys don't jam after pressing too many) I would be able to do everything. So when I do play 3D, all that will happen is I will get too used to the current config and by the time i'm able to change it I won't want to.

I have the same trouble, my keyboard bleeps at me if I press certain things together but when I played 3D I used a PS2 pad with an adapter which allows me to use it on my pc. I've also used Xmapper (or padder) to map my keyboard keys to the Xbox pad so I can use that on games also (like Hitman Contracts). Maybe you could try that option out as I never got any bleeps when I used the pads.

When you knock your opponent out, you win the fight. Therefor it makes sense to tally KO percentage based on actual wins.

If you go 5-5-1 (5KOs). You have a KO percentage of 100%. Because you "WON" 5 fights and WON BY KNOCKOUT in 5 out of those 5 fights. What does counting those 5 losses and 1 draw get you other than a 45% KO average?

It would be a different story if you could knock your opponent cold and still lose the fight. Which realistically only happens via DQ if say you hit him while he was down.

It's subjective, but I feel KO percentage should only be based on wins since it goes on your record as a "W" when you KO someone.

Well you aren't a student of the game if you still don't get it. Nor are you a student of the game if you deny the Sweet Science's method.

Perhaps the current method works for teenagers, 20 year olds still living in their parent's basements, or people that just don't understand the sport. I will continue to vehemently contend that the current method is one-dimensional, an inaccurate reflection of reality. However, to each their own, even when their own is a flawed and limited perspective.

Everyone has been happy with it the way it is so why fix what isn't broken ?

This is OB, we do things our way, we don't have to conform to standards set by people which don't even play the game, what the hell has it got to do with them anyway.

I'll have to watch this for sure if it happens, rust will play a big part in the outcome of this I'm sure but will be fun to watch.

Sounds about right that does for this comp, it loves messing with me.

Can't remember to be honest, I think it would be your aggression and defending yourself.

I'd have to look at the score card and my java or browser is being an idiot so I can't watch it (anyone else have trouble watching after Firefox updates ??).

It makes sense to me that it would work that way, one judges your agression (punches thrown?), one judges your defence (punches blocked?) and the other your accuracy (punches landed?).
