Instead of getting bored u should improve your styles.
A bout lasts maximally 10 rounds - u should be ready to go the distance if needed. Otherwise u r wrong here.
I like knocking guys out too, but sometimes it is not possible in the first rounds or at all. Then I have to do what u all like about me...
This game is close to real boxing, especially the tactics & strategy. So it`s totally ridiculous to say, that one`s style is too boring ("I let u win then."). That is total bullshit. In fact u realize that in this fight u r way too bad to win. In that case go down and stay there... and stop crying! It`s not Tekken here.

An effective style is a good style!

I don't let them win, I don't see it as winning and losing, I see it as having fun and not having fun. I've had all night brawls getting my ass kicked off Cynic with every fight going a good 7-9 rounds. I don't remember a time more enjoyable yet I lost most matches.

And I didn't say I couldn't beat them, I'm just not going to spend fifteen rounds trying and getting put to sleep with boredem.

reason i go for head cause it makes for more exciting fights and everyone fucking knows u cant jus duck all the time in a boxing punch meaning u cant take this game to seriously lol.
i do go for body aswel but i refuse to be like everyone else al the gd fighters use the duck jab style i rather do my own thing.
and dont bump old topics with u talking crap please.

They are just using a feature which you aren't. If you are not prepared to then you can't moan about them doing it, it's not their fault that they are better at adapting to the games features.

I'm like you though man, I don't like that kneel but you learn to deal with it. All you have to do is walk forward and get ready for them standing up as this will be the only time they can hurt you aslong as you don't press anything.
Jealousy won't get you anywhere dudes and for the amount you guys play you should be able to beat him.
@Oscar - I fell off a bump bed (bump lol) onto my head and like a really smart f@ker didn't put my arms in the way so it took full impact and crumbled.

Was paralised for a while but all turned out fine, I have no side effects or disabilities from it. Well maybe a few screws are lose but who's aren't muwhahaha

PS. Catfish, call that pain you soft f@ker.

and to chat to Don while he's rolling.

I plead the fifth
Geez that's a lot of fights.

Hopefully a lot more to come man

Regards

Donny
Lmao - "He's not the messiah, he's a very naughty boy".

Classic !
I broke me cervical vertebrae (neck) that was fun hehe

There has been a few good times, I've broke my fingers (6), I've been stabbed but it was only my arm so no biggy.

Growing up is fun
Booo
Exactly Boxa bro, I think some dudes take this game far to seriously.

If I'm in a fight and all the guy is doing is walking off and doing that silly (but effective) lean crap and gaying it up then sorry but no, that is just boring as hell and I'll let him win or whatever so that I don't have to be bored anymore chasing the guy around.

I'm here to have fun and enjoy myself, I really couldn't care about some number next to my name lmao.

also know for a fact I am alot further along then anyone on here in regards to combative arts.

Yes because you can tell that by the way we type. Dude you don't know everyone on here so don't assume just because we don't talk about it we don't know what we are on about/doing.

A lot of guys on here know a lot about Boxing and the others know a lot about MMA. Some guys train some guys don't and some guys are a lot older and a lot more advanced in the arts than they let people know.

Don't judge a book by it's cover man that's all I am saying and at the end of the day everyone has the same disadvantage no matter what they have trained in, it's called being human.
You old f@ker mate, you will have to get the zimmer out soon for sure.

I'm with Skillz though, it's dead arm time for you

Hope you had a blast, regards

Donny

Nice work, I'm a big fan of the jab.
Larry Holmes wrote:Donny just because they use "more" don't make it a "better" sport.

I'm not saying it is 'better' dude, you've not understood what I'm saying. All I was trying to say in the first place that was an MMA guys has more tools, he trains in more areas. Not he trains harder, just that he has more areas to better himself in.

It doesn't take more like you said to learn UFC why would it ? boxers spent the same amount of training perfecting something else. And in any area you can keep learning and improving your entire life.

I agree totally with the above statement.

And to say that the UFC always would beat boxers is just wrong . Yes maybe under their rules which is NOTHING like streetfighting.

I agree with this also but I didn't say they would win always. I said they would in their sport and under their rules.

Do you even know how many restrictinons they are under ? Small joints manipulation is not even allowed.

Yes and my favourite is - "Putting a finger into any orifice or into any cut or laceration on an opponent.". Always makes me laugh.

To call it Ultimate Fighting is a joke. It was closer when they first started out but now forget it.

I think that was a smart move, they are keeping the fighters safe. After all this is a sport not a street fight.

Most of their wresting stuff is based on the fact that they are on a nice soft canvas. You can't do that on concrete or you might break your knees or something else.

I agree sort of but it isn't that soft as a few dudes have found out such as Carlos Newton and Even Tanner. That goes for Boxing also, the canvas helps with the spring and movement of the fighter and if they fell backwards onto concreate after getting hurt then they could be injured just as much as a wrestler.

In a few years it will have stabilized itself, new strategies for winning boring points decisions will emerge and corrupt promotors will feed their starnames handpicked opponents. They will further limit their rules because of the danger and then we have boxing all over once again.

Maybe but hopefully not for some time. Don't jinx my sport you f@ker
Dudes MMA isn't just rolling around. I was talking about attributes and the tools at the fighters disposal and I was just trying to wind Oscar up btw.

In a Boxing fight we have two guys throwing it down with just their fists.

In MMA (UFC for example) we have two guys using their fists, legs, knees, elbows not to mention the rolling around as you call it (which is BJJ and wrestling btw).

Hell in some organisations you can use the foot stomps and headbutts so that is two more weapons that the fighters have.

Talking about street fights, I'll say it again...MMA isn't just the grapple, that is BJJ or Wrestling you are thinking of. MMA stands for Mixed Martial Arts, and Boxing is one of those arts.

@ Larry - you are 100% correct man in what you say in your first post.

If you take away the MMA tools (apart from Boxing) then yes the fighter won't be as skilled as the Boxer in most cases 'cos of the fact the Boxer only trains in that art. The same goes the other way, put the Boxer in the MMA fight and he will get whooped no problem.

But if you put a Boxer and an MMA guy in a cage and said ok fight but you can't punch, the MMA guy would win hands down as the Boxer wouldn't have any skills at all where as the MMA guy would have plenty.

That's my point, the MMA guy has more tools for the job. Now get off my back you bunch of Boxing nazis

Regards

Donny

PS. No I don't want to imagine a whack off Tyson, what are you like some kind of crazy dude ?
