Hey Oscar Roy Jones was clearly sooooo shot it wasn't even funny. Calzaghe beat on him and you have to give it to him but it isn't a credablie win. Calz came along on the right time......Jones sould hang em up and Joe should rm hopkins or fight dawson then retire....

Couldn't have said it better myself Mikkel, a great post. Calzaghe is good, but when everything is said and done down the road James Toney, Roy Jones, and Bernard Hopkins will all be remembered as being on a level higher than Calzaghe when their resumes are taken into account.

Petition for Ike's retirement

Since Ike's humiliating 3rd round KO loss to African Assassin, he has subsequantly been destroyed by viper in 1 round... not to surprising, but since he was went on a 15 fight losing streak and all of them had ended under 4 all by brutal KO. The last straw came today when i witnessed him be tko'ed by TRPCHE in round one. This isn't because trp isn't a good fighter he really is, but TRPche has never been known as a big puncher, and is probably the most held back fighter in all of OB, even moreso than myself......The point is Ike was a up and coming monster, and since I laid down the blueprint on how to anihilate him everyone else has been doing just that. I believe that Ike should retire his main for a while and fight under his multiple other alts untill he regains his confidence....

UGGGH.....Nigel Benn let me break it down for you. While i do think that calzaghe is an exceptional fighter at this time I do not think that his resume is any better than lets say a winky wright, who has faught and beaten (without contreversy) way more credible fighters than Slappy has, who by the way should have 2 L's beside his name. Secondly coming up in the 90s two of my favourite fighters alongside Hopkins and tyson were Lennox Lewis and Prince Naseem Hamed so I find your allegation of me being biast towards Euro fighters flabergasting. While I do consider Calzaghe and elite fighter and admire his hard work, his style of boxing if you can call it that reminds me of the time i was wandrening through the woods and was swarmed by 100s of mosquitos, which led to me throwing more slaps then anyone has in a minuete. Bottom line calzaghe is a slapper and it turns many hardcore boxing fans like myself off. Be that as it may Roy Jones jr. is going down tonite, sadly because he is SHOT TO BITS and calzaghe isn't.

PS. Calzaghe would have not only been dominated by Roy 10 years ago, he would have been humiliated by him, and probably KTFO in the process. If you think calzaghe would have had a close fight 10 years ago with any chance of him winning the you my friend are what us American call a NUTHUGGER... sorry to say that Nigel since I have tremendous respect for you but it is true.

I think Kessler should be put in the ring with TRPCHE in a rm their first fight was very close, and TRPCHE hasn't faugh in an official pdp card for a long ass time. Also that fight would get him the proper training he needs to step in with the more offensive minded African Assassin.
