^in THAT tournament, the top 4 ranked fighters at the time

1. Here to Fight
2. Larry Holmes
3. Salvador Sanchez
4. Tyrant

all ended up at the semi finals...I think that was fair due to the elite competition of Larry. HTF, Sal, MAB, Myself, Unstoppable, Cynic, etc...

But with so many new and up and comers this time around, I actually MIGHT do a random bracket as opposed to rank seeding...will make it a lot more interesting

Strengths: Countering ability, defense, accuracy

Weaknesses: stamina (I counter with many power shots) and passiveness (don't throw enough)

Yes HTF is correct. The tournament just BEGINS on Saturday. From Saturday on, you and your opponent (which you will find out on Friday or Saturday) can setup times for your fights. I like to give time for tournaments as not everyone works on similar schedules.

So your space will not be forfeited unless it is obvious that a fighter is simply avoiding his match or decides to take a leave of absence for a a couple of days.

*I will create a new topic on Saturday that is solely for setting up fights, tourney talk and posting results.

Couple of things...

-You mean "mythical" matchup.
-Foreman is retired
-Chris Byrd is not what he once was.
-Foreman is NOT unskilled. Yes was fought very raw. He wasn't as skilled as an Ali or Holmes, but he knew how to use his jab, cut off the thing and throw a variety of punches. He did some nice little things followed by his big punch.

Mythical...Prime for prime, I would pick Foreman. Though it would not be easy as a prime Byrd can move very well.

Mythical...Byrd in the later stages of his career vs the comeback Foreman, I would pick Byrd. Foreman wasn't as mobile when he came back and Byrd still could move.

The tournament room is reopening. For those who don't know, the Tournament room was created for the purpose of allowing all tournament participants 12 round fights. It also keeps you from having to fight tourney fights in OB title rankings.
