That is honestly not true. Fatny is not unstoppable infact I been back 3 days fought him twice and he really didnt impress me.

And as larry goes I got 2 wins so far and I am far from prime.

Why is that not true? To be the man, you've got to beat the man OR dominate the competition if "the man" steps down himself. The way it has always been.

If you're the best in OB, then your name will be listed as OBW, OBC, OBF and OBA champ. Right now, Fatny is the best. Plain and simple in my eyes.
Wow. Quite generous guys. HTF you're going to freakin' put me in tears little Grasshopper.

I would love to be in the HOF, but I do understand the quality it takes to get in. I have always felt I was a cut above Streetbully and right there with Greg Haugen to be honest. It is what it is.

Thank you for your kind words all. Thank you for your respect HTF. You have always had mine (though I hated how my student I used to pick on and "pad" my record off of surpassed me 10x...lol). Hah. You deserve it.

I feel sugarray should have been in there already. Dominant as long as HTF? No. But only a select few can say they have been Undisputed and/or Super Champ of Onine Boxing.

Sugarray was the first Undisputed Champion of Online Boxing.

Sugarray was the first Super Champion of Online Boxing.

Sugarray began that trend and carried himself well.

If there was a 3 a year system, Sugarray definitely...
Stick with it...continue a legacy for the name everyone knows you by...

I started off like 90-600 (90 wins, 600 losses) until I got better and eventually my record improved...but I have always stood true to my original name...
And to those who respond

"these tournaments never work" or "this is not going to finish"

you have two choices...not to participate...or help by participating
Yup, overall more people seem interested in the game and other players as a whole. The forums are playing a major part in that. As well as those who continuosly post.
He is just stirring you guys up. Knock him out.

Tyrant says that's too cheap.

Any info on how to get in the HOF?

Do i have to win titles? and defend them many times?

Or is there another way?

Dude, it was already explained that you have to win titles, unify and be dominate for an extended period of time. At least a few months. That's pretty much what it takes now.

There really is no "set" criteria anymore....it really comes down to being dominant and winning titles...defending them and staking your claim among the best consistently...may not have to be a few months...but dominance over the top players...

dominance doesn't always mean NEVER lose either...but winning more vs top opposition than losing...etc...

that's why OB's HOF has been so prestigious (and maybe hated, lol) because it is reserved for the game's elite..
LennoxLewis wrote:right, yeah getting 500 or more wins is way too easy, like i've saw salvador sanchez in the HOF and he has only got 1 title win with 1 def...

I understand that he has a dominant style, but i've beat him, and it wasnt just one lucky win, i dominated in the rounds with also knockdowns.

Im not saying its easy to get in the HOF but i just don't understand why people with that many title wins has become in the HOF.

in their respective eras...they were a cut above the rest (most of them anyway)

it's like real boxing...Chavez and Whitaker could be beaten in the twilight of their careers....just like you have been able to beat Sal...however, in the prime of their careers...in the era where they were at their best, they were the HTF, Larry Holmes, Fatny of their times...Sal at one point traded titles with the likes of Holmes and Mike Tyson...his best days are behind him and he can be beaten...

don't go by the title records currently on the site....SO MANY fights and title fights have been lost in the old OB...I have plenty of title fights, defenses that have not been recorded myself...guys like Larry, Sal, Mike Tyson, myself and others have fights unheard of to the record books throughout all of the changes...

these guys are legends...
I don't mind showing me. That is me and I damned proud of it. I'd rather show myself as opposed to a picture of someone I wish I was. In Yacoob's case, "The Rock".

Cheers to you Yacoob! Black skin, gums and all!
Don't touch yourselves...

We all have loved the idea of clans/gyms for years. Now it seems there are active members not only on OB, but in the forums willing to make it happen.

I think that 5 spots should be given for clans to start off with. Just so that there aren't 20 people trying to begin their own clan right off the bat.

Here clan leaders should post their official clan name, a description of what their clan is about and those already in their clan if any.

Then we can do a vote as to which 5 seem most genuine and serious to begin with. Keeping in mind that depending on how the first 5 go, more can be added and voted on/approved.

Sound fair?

Follow the formula below:

----------------------------------------
GYM NAME:
GYM CREATOR:
DESCRIPTION OF GYM:

List of fighters in your gym:
(if any)
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
----------------------------------------
Yeah I wouldn't wipe out clans, but everything else sounds good.

Could be nice if once a month, we have clan wars.

Mikkel could setup a section with 5 forums. 5 forums for 5 clans. I don't think we should allow ourselves to get carried away with unlimited clans. Because everyone will want to make one to call their own.

So those who stepped up first to get clans started should probably have their clans taken into consideration. With the exception of any derogatory/racist clans.
well then dress me up and call me Susan

Oscar wrote:I'd like to see them back just to give more people a chance it's like IBF who gives a fuck about that but it's a stepping stone towards the bigger titles.

But again, I feel it should just be one stepping stone title.

We don't want to have 12 different champions just so that 12 people have a chance to hold a title.

This has been happening for a long time. At one point when Labratory was dominating, people were saying that no one gets a chance to hold the belt. However someone always comes along or gets better to stir things up.

All in all, I think there should ONLY be two belts. One main OBW title and one Prospect Title.
